Christmas card Merry Christmas! Christmas Embroidery

This year's Christmas greetings them there I show you my house decorated for the holidays!
After showing the wreath-advent calendar hanging on the fireplace ( here) and the crown out of town ( here) I present my family tree, decorated with a height of 210 cm balls, stars of felt, straw decorations, trees glitter and some Disney character!

This is not the only tree in the house ... in fact the "minor children", saplings of 60 cm, in the bathroom and bedroom!

During these hectic days of preparation (the time is literally flying and I was from Halloween to Christmas in the blink of an eye) I also had a free morning - in fact, thanks to snow that has blocked for a couple of days - to devote to the creation of these two compositions made with spruce branches, leaves and pine cones.

The last pattern in temporal order (December 23 - delay due to on-line store that sent us after Almost a month!) is this period that we placed in front of the door, decorated with embroidered bearings last year in cross stitch with the numbers of the advent!

Finally, I show a preview of how I decided to place all the cards I have sent the two girls swap in which I participated, the mega swap twin ASI - Night Scrapper - Scrapbook and exchange on the forum organized Want to Create ! Soon I'll show you all the details!

If you want to read more about the various creations as I realized I suggest you go on the blog "The beach house " where you will find a detailed account of my !

Side Dishes With Venison

SPONSORSHIP! (DAY 667)

are sunk, I know.
Another month and a half without a post: argh, embarrassing.
"I'm working a lot" is an excuse?
Unlike previous work, where I had no important responsibility, I had 7 in the evening, a dozen times a year and were completely free weekend, my new job is a little challenging, to say the least. Welcome to Sydney, welcome to business, baby.
So much for "take it easy, no worries!"
long evenings in the office of pizza and beer from China and weekend calls with Skype Calls Los Angeles, the final decisions that go by myself .... stop the world, I want to sit on this very fast car, I'm not ready for all these responsibility! Four months ago
piss around the world working to find a real job, responsibility and motivation, now I could answer with a "You wanted the bike? Well! Now shut up and ride."
This work makes me happy, but there are two aspects to file, a consequence of the other.
work late and work weekends, if the first factor is not a big problem, the second is.
Never disconnect, always be available is heavy. It 'happened to call me at 2 am on a Saturday evening with friends while I was assailed by hunger chemical post-evening: I also drank a few beers and see a strange number calling me "Hey Albert, I'm Will. "To which I replied ..." mmmm ... Will ... Will I am? "(Usually stupid!)
" No, I'm Will from China, your colleague. Okay, but how come you did not answer the mail that I sent you before? I seem to avertela sent to 9pm, now China ... let me check at midnight Sydney time .. I'm already past two hours! "
Imagine my face.
Forced to go home at 2 am on a Saturday night to work with a variety of beers on the rump, and manage a problem with the Development Team ... ... things I've ever done, work computer, but you know ... it is a start-up, then it must be capable of getting by, roll up their sleeves and try it .. and be successful, that is, finish the job.
Sunday Next I had to work in the office while 30gradi of Sydney and the sun made me curse in Aramaic. And the sun did return with the night, with work finished at 4am.
also because ... drum roll ... all these hours are not paid.
And while one of the lead investors sent me an email by default, a second mail he sent me an arrogant response that I had not had time to post.
But I say: the first, you have a PHD? try to use their heads and thank me if you want, be efficient and use different words. For the second
? You gotta be kidding me, asshole.
course the next day I demanded a meeting with my boss: I'm not one who complains a lot, but what was success was excessive strains without being paid. So
'I got a promotion, pay rise, the policies for those working during the weekend another e. .. drum roll ... THE SPONSORED VISA.
Yeah, the famous Sponsorship I wanted from day one here in Sydney, at the 'Opera Bar in Milan with my friend that I praised the beauty of Sydney (and now in Canada haha, great Lauretta), I tried the Sponsorship for a year in my previous job I was promised and that taking the piss .... there it is.
I will be sponsored (if the government agrees), I will increase the salary (as long as I accept it, lol) and I can still stay in Australia, 2 or maybe 4 years still do not know.
That said, I like to work: challenging course, full of responsibility, with new challenges every single day. I manage a team of 3 persons, with the fourth "coming soon" and I'm happy: great relationship with my boss and great esteem (exhausted if the numbers do not come eh eh) from the top management.
I'm happy, even though I work so much. Perhaps it is the proper punishment for what little work in previous work:)
And, as often happens when you make plans, here comes the news: the exact day that I am getting the Sponsorship, a Project Manager work with me contacted, telling me that I would head / skills to work with her in the same company now. I had not even considered when the next day I was contacted and told me: "Albert, this would be the salary, including Green Card, you should of course go through the final selection, it is not your job, you had zero strategy and you should only work on projects and deliver them, but LOS ANGELES waiting for you. "
Hang on ... Los Angeles? I? Los Angeles? City of Angels?
Imagine my satisfaction, word, LOS ANGELES!
I thought about it a couple of days I do not know if I was happy with the offer or if I thought to do.
In the end, I chose to Sydney. Again.
Los Angeles was not immediate, it was not certain an offer, had not been formalized and the process would not be quick.
must still approve the budget now, and I should spend the final selection (and I went to work for the arrogant bastard that I mentioned first heh heh). In short, a process that quantifies in 2 / 3 months.
While on the other hand, I had just been offered a sponsorship contract and a 2 / 4 years, a safety, in an environment that I like where I am right, where there are a Team Manager and a wonderful relationship with my boss, where do strategy.
forward in the near future, who knows. But
be called from Los Angeles was a good confidence boost for me, for my pride.
Sometimes I think my Lake Garda is perfect for me, I sometimes think that I could not go back permanently: it is a question that I will have forever. Meanwhile
vivo. And I try to make the most of this experience.
And speaking of work, I apologize for the post quite boring. Many things have happened in the meantime, the stalker's birthday, from U2 to Jay-Z, from her to you no more, the feast of Movember.
And I promise to seek more time to talk about frivolous things more interesting:) A hug
, Albe

Unblocked Cube Runner 2

Garland out of town!

Here is the wreath I made for our front door, where beautiful since last Saturday afternoon!

I made from a base, purchased ready-made, woven wood ... I added the green ribbon metallic mesh, passing it all around and staring at the top with a pretty bow! I put three men to complete the gingerbread cut from Sizzix Bigz die Gingerbread Man (656,295) with the color pannolenci cookie and double stitched with the same color as the Moulin. With dark green pannolenci I made buttons!
I pasted all over with hot glue and hung in a thin transparent nylon!
