AUSTRALIAN OPEN (DAY 347 )

And finally, on the stroke of twelve months, I flew JetStar and I went to Melbourne!
[little detail ... 26 years before coming to Australia: flights taken 8. A year in Australia: 13 flights taken !]
I still remember when last year, these days, the capital of Victoria was on the pages of every newspaper for what it is named, in Australia, the most 'largest natural disaster in history (highest respect for the 200 victims, but so' on the spot, I would say tsunami who?) and my mother , all worried about my departure, he said, "but you're crazy to go 'and' close in Sydney on the map."
actually 'on the map the two cities' most 'important of this continent are very close, but the reality' and corresponds to 800km an hour and a half plane, this to provide an example of the enormity 'of' OZ .
Anyway, reason for visit were the Australian Tennis Open, the last year, because of time zone, I saw only amazing marathons in the early morning! But before we talk
Melbourne: I was all studded, describing it as "European" e. .. well, the first thing you notice walking through the thousands of various streets, and 'just that.
aim for a mix between Venice and Milan:)
Very nice, very friendly, but honestly I keep my happy Sydney! :)
Time and 'very strange: we can' be a hot and sultry weather (in my opinion the last day reached 40 degrees) or, especially at night, making the great cold, forcing them to put the tee in the summer!
We also rented a car to go to a house party organized by an Italian friend, one hour from Melbourne, with the road that skirted the sea ... fabulous!
The party was in Australian style, with only Australian who did nothing but drink, except for a girl because she's' gone after less than an hour.
I was introduced to a blonde girl, who was four days after playing for Argentina, and this considerably shines, began with a "NECES SEXO" alchemical 'I said with a face and a little surprise, "Well, I think you have all it takes to make you love in South America. "
In the past one year here, 'was my only party with only Australia, which did nothing but drink, cocktail or finish the can, take another and start the cycle but I have to 'add that the boy and the friend who hosted us' was a treasure, welcoming and fabulous doing everything to make us feel at ease ... great Steven! However, in the end, not to miss the clichés, he vomited in the sink eh eh.
But back to the courts: unique and wonderful experience!
We must say, were very fortunate with regard to the selection of games (which is decided only the day before, then take your ticket and hopefully!) On Monday 'we enjoyed the Italian Schiavone risk to win against Venus Williams, Davydenko ended the fifth set against Verdasco and impressive Serena Williams to win easily against the idols of the house, Stosur.
Three games then, all with their 'cause, not to mention the fact that, as good Italians, we have moved from the place ... we had booked in the third row! And we enjoyed playing the game and seeing half a step away from the champions!
The next day we bought a ground pass, which was used to seeing all matches, except the main arena, the Rod Laver Arena.
We saw in the front row, the Italian Pennetta who played in two (she and 'wonderfully beautiful), the mythical legends of tennis Pioline / Forget vs. Martin / Muster (more 'friendly exhilarating than anything else, even if the two Frenchmen were waaay compounds, while the other couple seemed to show a bunch of entertainers!), the Chilean Gonzales / vs Ljubicic. a pair of Finns, especially the double with the Williams sisters!
beautiful atmosphere, although the meeting of the Australian fans were still screaming COM'ON SAM! even when the poor woman was under 6-3, 5-1 and could not make a point against Serena Williams of the beast!
hoped to see one of Djokovic, Nadal and Federer, but the first was a simple game, the second and 'retired, won the third in less than two hours of play!
the remainder of the countdown continues, missing sixteen days to go!
three days is sleeping at my house nd Tia, known first and then virtually become a great friend Every night we have a mission, that 'kill the spiders that prevent us from entering the house, surrounded by a garden with three entrances .
Two nights ago we tried the first entry: spider discreet! We move and we see this here, my new best friend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jw6pfKxnXBA
Then again, the second entry, yet, another painting! Third entry, another mega spider. I could not get into the house ... then I took the first thing I saw, a brick, and I split the canvas ... who knows' if I kill the spider! This
and 's a bit stressful, living in an apartment like this is absolutely not worth it, but' two more weeks and it 's over! Certainly the case back to Sydney, new house! My ex-tenant and German 'home for two days, lying on the bed, an infection caused by a bite of an animal, probably while he was in Australia and the sea ...' beautiful, but can 'also be very, very dangerous!
That's all, folks! Alby
who and ps' Silvia says that ever? :)

HUNTSMAN (DAY 340)

Do you know what 'a huntsman?
Probably not. I knew even up to two nights ago, actually '.
relaxed and lying on my mega Latvian, I was easily check the mail and the various social networks, when I notice that my eyelids are slowly closing.
Well come on, I say, now go to the bathroom, wash your teeth and then to bed.
I look up e. ..

BUM!
Him! My new enemy!
A spider on 10-12cm!
The first reaction I had, 'was to take a step backward with a movement that I did not since I was 16years and start cursing.
Well, a spider so 'great, jumped to 10 inches from me (I dare not imagine if I had jumped in head !)... mostly 'in Australia, a little' fear of going to make it to anyone.
continue to curse, I decide what to do? Of course, photos with the 'iPhone, eh eh.
I have two three shots with a trembling hand, as you can 'see and then decide which one of us could survive!
I take my shoe from Cinderella (a 48.5!) And think, shit, if not kill you the first shot of the night and 'round. I will not do 'nothing but look for him all night ... and then how do you sleep when you know you have a spider in the room? Mostly 'a room not really giant!
One shot. Only one shot.
Take aim and zap, kill him. Before killing him I feel a kind of Bzzzz, but I do not preccupo.
load the photos on facebook, and, fortunately, the legendary Lucio announced to me that what I've just killed is not 'nothing but the famous huntsman: famous for being one of the spiders' harmless from all over Australia, that affects only when provoked and not 'poisonous.
What bothers me (even now!) And 'noise as I was killing it, according to wikipedia, is done when the spider identifies a pheromone left by the woman to mate .... so I suspect that there is another.
Anyway, I start to clean everything, move tables, cabinets and above the bed, 'cause I will not sleep!
Aziono even the vacuum cleaner (11pm, my poor tenants) and fine lment at midnight I go to bed. Not exactly a quiet sleep, eh?
late to work, the whole story to my boss tells me: "Are you kidding?" Did you kill him? The huntsman and 'very good, you had to pick him up, put it in a container and bring it into the garden. "
I remain quite shocked, from the point of view of a spider over the Europe 'largest I have ever seen was maybe 2cm, and certainly not as black and hairy Huntsman (I thought it was a tarantula!).
Well, if there was something that makes you say, eh ... but Beautiful as Australia '...
are served!

A PLACE IN THE WORLD (DAY 336)

not know how many of you have ever read "A Place in the World", I know many of you will see a disgusted face approached the name of the name of Fabio Volo writer , but this book for myself and 'wonderful, as well as being one of my favorite books.
The weekend just past 'was, like, an incredible experience, lonely, exhausting that will serve' for my future and that left me much time to think, given the amount 'of time I spent close to the clouds .
I read, again, for the umpteenth time, that book. Not following history given by the writer, but jumping from chapter to chapter, read a piece here and a piece there, savoring the moments of sleep during the thousand-by-two-minutes. My favorite chapter describes the Mulher Abraço, but I must say that during the various umpteenth reading, I'm appreciating even more.
Many topics, many themes that are tied, many issues that have been replicated in this year that is ending.
short, every time I read this book I feel totally involved.
As always, it made me think of the deep 'experience in Australia, as I have served, but to that feeling inside that haunt me, and curiosity is the' I's find myself more and more 'deeply, until you get to know me completely.
L 'and OZ' was fabulous, but it 's only one step in a long journey that I'm doing during these years and which I hope will lead to personal enrichment.
I thought of my two years in Milan: a city 'that have never been able to love fully, for the people first and foremost, for the time, the inability' to have an adequate transport system, the lack of water, and many other factors.
I was wrong, I admit, not to live in Milan at 100%. When I could, I returned home happy, my old friends, to comfort ': Sometimes even I was leaving on Monday' evening not to miss the practice match the 18.00 Sunday with friends, a drink and a delay of Serie A with pizza. I love my village, there should I do? Pero 'I also know that, right now, I have to stay away.

And I know. And how if I know. For that I did not want to return to Milan.
For that I went to Spain. For that I chose Australia (yes, a bit 'too far you might say!). 'Cause I know that the current state of things, I'd rather live my life in a place (in world) hectic, and can' come a day when you know 5 people from 5 different continents and trade three languages \u200b\u200b(a little 'ambiguous this !) as if they were flat.
Everything 'does not be an attack on my Italian friends, indeed I love them and I look forward to seeing and hugging them all, but it 's just a different way to live life, I would say a will' different.
Can 'be a defect, one related to my living in Milan? Well, I see it much as an attempt not to fall in errore.Piu 'experiences I'll have' lived in my life, more 'I'll be' happy. More 'avro' experienced different things, more 'I'll be able' to move. More 'mistakes I'll have' done, I will know better 'deal with them next time. So 'the I think:)

The book also made me rethink the relationship I have with my best friend, two idiots with very different ambitions. When I returned from Spain, I thought have found the only way to live, and martellai him in the head for six months, when exhausted he said, "Alby, we're different." I had myself a laugh and I apologized.
[Although I am still convinced that he is more 'of what' and that ', though, and that' already 'so]
Dopoquesta the "new age", we return to the present.
Something fabulous is happening in the last few weeks and 'hope, the will', call it what you will, of my friends from here to recover between them. And 'something, I say, fabulous, makes me feel important and well-liked. Perceive and 'beautiful. Victor A few days ago, a English friend, was a bit 'drunk while we were changing a song, hugs me and tells me: "yo quiero que tu vuelvas, Queremos que todos vuelvas, Albe ... tienes que volver, joder! abrazo a Dame" And I was laughing myself completely welcomed by all.
It 'important to have some fixed points in Sydney, is one of the reasons that led me to the choice of Australian groped card for next year.
Last night, after two months, I finally chatted with my parents, after seeing a lot of time, given that they have moved house and Fastweb has re-established the connection with abbtanza long time, to say the least.
[Among other things, will come back 'in Italy with something new, double emotion!]

We spoke half an hour, laughing like fools, I am happy to see them again in a month and I see my return to Italy as the land of a child first visit to Gardaland!
My parents, my sister, my family, my friends, always in Bardolino, Lake Garda, the pastry shop, butcher, newsagent, and many many other things. I might explode with emotion.

I can not wait. The countdown and 'always in my head, but I do not let this take over my last month on the Australian! So next week I'm going 'to Melbourne to visit the city' and especially to see the live Australian Open tennis! Wow!
And maybe there will be 'in program a trip to the Royal National Park, already 'visited, but always beautiful and full of new things to discover.
My Boss's Daughter and 'married and has organized the kitchen tea, what would it be? The bride, a few weeks before the wedding, organized a day at home with her friends, who bring cups, plates, etc. etc. all useful things for the home. Stay in the house all day, eat, drink and play cards ... mmmm, fantastic! I did not ask the boss if this is goodbye to spinsterhood Italian, better to avoid eh eh.
Finally, I reiterate that I fail to understand Australian women.
After leaving with a girl Wednesday, 'let's talk about' how the girls want be treated here.
We talk a lot of violent men, zero romantic, more attention 'to the beer to dress sexy girlfriend So far ok, largely confirmed the stereotype of the young Australian in the last 11 months.
Then I ask what to do when you have the number one girl.
"Never be felt immediately, you have to wait 3-4 days for a text message and then wait 6-7 days for an answer."
As we were given the second, I said that I had to write the same night to convince her that would accept my invitation to dinner (....)
I write a sms in my opinion (and according to that babba Glo) cute , the days pass and she does not respond, until now he says he needs more time to understand if and 'concerned or not!
After two appointments, among other things went well! Doh!
I wrote that he could look for someone else to be interested: D
That's all, folks.

My Bearded Dragon Has Black In His Ear

2K10 (DAY 321)

Happy tùtausendendten !
What a coincidence, I noticed just now that I write this post in 321 days of my Australian adventure ... 3, 2, 1 as the countdown for the arrival of the new year, the first New Year's Eve spent in Sydney, the first time celebrating ten hours a year before I ever did in my whole life in Europe.
have been two wonderful days, which began last year in the now famous Thomson Street, where we had dinner with cooked pasta and tapas by English-Italian connection, and then move to the home of Victor, a friend of ours is currently in Spain and that we had left the keys to her apartment in Potts Point, with a very good view of Opera House and Harbour Bridge, which would have left the famous fireworks in Sydney, who in Italy are always seen at the 18 o'clock news, so to speak.
The fireworks were wonderful, fantastic twelve minutes as you can see here and emotions that have made myself: I felt emotions strange, from euphoria to disbelief to sadness to joy concentration at the vent, or whatever.
Personaggione an evening of French, 5 times as well as having responded to my question "but what's your name?" has thought well to respond with a "do not do too much Italian and be sincere in my appreciation of his eyes. Hit and sunk, tac.
However, his name was Camille. Or at least I think.
Once the fires, with a fairly high alcohol level, we reached the Syracuse crew to move to the home of Fernando, another English friend, where we ended the evening at 6. Without their best wishes to my piddaro (the equivalent of kebabbaro) Trust, taxi and home at 6.30.
hours in line with the Italian returns, really! Pity that a) in Italy I have not ever been woken up by parents at 10 am, and opened the champagne to celebrate their second in 2010) in Italy, usually, I spent the first day of sleep, only to find around 4-5 pm for a drink, strictly non-alcoholic cocktail with friends.
None of this, since I had taken the tickets for the
Field Day 2010 event that happens every year in Sydney, held in the Domain, great area surrounded by greenery in a step by skyscrapers.
The festival would last from 11am to 11pm, and so the alarm was slightly early!
The concert however was amazing, with amazing music, we danced (me, two Italian friends, and then a mix of Australians German French and English) till 11pm, stopping only twenty minutes to catch his breath. It was worth it, really it was worth the effort.
I think I have arrived at the end of the festival thanks to 6 redbull that I gobbled up during the day, but I think that other participants in the festival will be fun in other ways, in view of the pusher 83 arrested during the day!
The music, a mix between indie rock, techno and house, was amazing, and reached the top at 5pm when it started raining, and Roger Sanchez was playing: fabulous feeling of freedom that can not be described, serenity and happiness together, we danced in the rain ... speechless. Surely one of the top 10 moments of 2010! They also sang
presets and other groups who did not know until the top of the top end with 2ManyDjLive simply sensational, with delirious crowd and end of the concert ending with millions of facts shoot confetti into the air.
And so it began in 2010, as I had never started, and how I will start again next year and subsequent years.
2009 has given so much in terms of experience and people you know. 2010, who knows, for the first time I did not want to ask anything, and follow the flow.
Have a great 2010, you all!
